We visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend. We had heard good comments about the food and were not disappointed. We ordered carpaccio and then different pinsa pizza combinations to share. Loved all of them, but my favorite one was the Spec pinsa with balsamic glace. Delicious! We all loved the soft and crunchy dough of these rustic pizzas and the quality ingredients. Will definitely be coming back.
I had never heard of pinsa until this wonderful restaurant opened on A1A in LBTS. (Pinsa la tartufo is to die for, especially if you love truffle.) I brought guests there last week and they loved their meals as well; lasagna and shrimp fra diablo. The sandwiches are also delicious, made with super fresh panini bread. My guests also had a charcuterie board and said it's the best they've ever had! (And I agree.) Liz is a lovely, hands-on owner/server/jack-of-all-trades woman who works hard to make sure her customers are 100% pleased, which I am every time I go. The staff is equally dedicated to providing great customer service. I'm so glad La Capricciosa has found a home in LBTS - in my opinion, the best restaurant in town. There's lots of dishes that I haven't tried yet, but that's only because of my loyalty and addiction to the pinsa/pizza!

We love this restaurant and you should go there every Friday night for their Pizza but my friends have tried all the other dishes we absolutely love it there

If you like Italian food but don’t like the heavy feeling after you eat it, this is your place. The Pinsa is so light yet has such flavorful toppings. Mossimo and Lisette have put together a really inviting menu. I have eaten there many times and have always been pleased. This little Diamond is a keeper.

This Pinsa Pizza concept Italian cafe is a real treat to have in Laudeedale by the Sea. Not your average run of the mill pizza. I light airy crust with great chew and crunch. The toppings on the pizzas and the quality of the meats and cheeses on the charcuterie board show the love and passion for fine Italian items. Great wine specials , delicious dessert, especially the Pistachio cake , and again, a breath of fresh air in the service aspect from Mossimo and Liz. So glad they’re BACK!!

I am so in love with our best little spot for a family or friends to enjoy Lauderdale by the sea and the owner makes everyone feel like a long lost friend walking! Definitely recommend and the pistachio cake is the absolute perfect dessert.

Not far from the "main drag" in Lauderdale by the Sea is this cozy authentic Italian restaurant. The food is fresh, reasonably price and served by a friendly staff. Parking is easy and free. The music is "comfortable" so you can talk while you enjoy. Oh ... and they have a great wine selection. What more could you ask for?! This place is one of our favorites!!!
