Florida's Atlantic Coast and Broward County
On the eastern coastline, take part in spring break festivities at Pompano Beach, Hollywood, Galt Ocean Mile, Dania Beach, Lauderdale by the Sea or Fort Lauderdale, or watch the cruise ships from Port Everglades. Party like a rock star on on Las Olas or in Pompano Beach's new Fishing Village. Watch The Panthers, Marlins, Dolphins or Miami Heat battle it out at one of the state of the art Stadiums. Eat excellent cuisine in Fat Village, or lounge under palm trees by the "Strip" in Fort Lauderdale or the Broadwalk in Hollywood.
The southern portion of the state is primarily made up of the Everglades (including the iconic Everglades National Park), and at the southern-most tip of Florida is the Florida Keys, which include strings of tropical islands, posh resorts, and a never-ending beach party on Key West.
If you have time, take a few days to visit Orlando, South Beach, Naples or the Space Coast.
